Programma Sviluppo is glad to invite you to the international conference “Risk scenarios and prevention strategies for the ports of the adriatic-ionian region”, which will be held on Wednesday 7th June from 9.30 to 16.30 at Relais Histò - Taranto. The event is part of Project INTERREG IT-AL-ME “PORTS PLUS”, and will be also part of the Taranto Innovation Summit, a week-long event on the thematics of environmental sustainability through the lens of innovation. 

The Conference is structured in three panels animated by representatives of the main public and private stakeholders: Port Network Authority of the Southern Adriatic and Ionian Seas, Apulia Region, Jonian Doplhin Conservation, as well as from the Partners implicated in the Project. After a first talk dedicated to the risk scenarios and prevention strategies in the main port infrastructures of the concerned area, there will be space for a technical session focused on the environmental safety in Gulf of Taranto and the Boka Kotorska; in the afternoon, there will be a focus on the importance of the main job figures implicated in port safety, as well as on the role of technical and continuous training for the personnel.

Everybody interested in these topics is kindly invited to take part in the event and to share perspectives with the speakers.
