Programma Sviluppo is pleased to invite you to the international conference "Digital Challenges and strategy for cyber security in ports", scheduled for Friday 30 June from 9.30 to 16.30 in the Conference Room of ITS Logistica Puglia. The event concludes the dissemination and capitalization process structured within the INTERREG IT-AL-ME "PORTS PLUS" cooperation project. The conference will be enriched by the interventions of the main public and private stakeholders, and will see the participation of speakers from the Port Network Authority of the Ionian Sea, University of Salento, the University of Bari and LUM, as well as the partners involved in the project. A consistent relevance will be given to the technical contents and case studies presented by the lecturers coming from academia and the private sector, with a focus on the innovative solutions developed for the cyber security of the ports; in the afternoon, there will be a focus on the professional profiles involved in port security, and on the strategic role of higher technical and corporate training for the personnel in service. It will also be an opportunity to present a first overview of the new "Innovation Center for Safety and Security" (PICS2), an ambitious project supported by the European Commission as part of the European Digital Innovation Hubs: PICS2 is a center of excellence, supported by a consortium developed on a national basis, which will provide services to facilitate and accelerate the digital transition process and the acquisition of professional skills in the field of safety and security.
The event is accredited by the Order of Engineers of Taranto for the value of continuous training activities for local professionals.
The INTERREG "PORTS PLUS" project aims at the promotion of updating activities on the theme of innovation in the methods and processes of the ports of the Adriatic-Ionian area, through the cooperation of Associazione Programma Sviluppo, the University of Montenegro, the Albanian Institute of Transport and ITS Logistica Puglia as the Lead Partner of Consortium.
